so today i had surgery because apparently i brush too hard and was brushing away my gums. so, this means i needed skin grafts. it hurt like a sonovab*tch and i saw the periodontist SEWING. really?? you're sewing something onto my gums. awesome. as my gums were packed i muttered, "are you stitching my guuhhhms?" he answered, "yep." he was a funny periodontist. he asked me where i went to school. i answered him. he asked if it was a good school. i said, "no, it pretty much was a horrible waste of money, but whhhhoooo knows what the curriiiicchhulum is like now...." ... he laughed. i was in PAIN.
i felt validated that i went to payless shoe source and got two really cute pairs of shoes for 6.50. i deservvvvvvvvvvvved it. yes?
well, THEN as if it couldn't get worse, as if somebody hadn't already put a needle into my gums, my daughter HEAD BUTTS ME. and my stupid dressing falls off. awesome.
this is the sexy before and after. :)and i still love her. i had to call my periodontist and apparently he was out with his friends for drinks, and i had to talk to his wife. she's a dental hygentist, and sensed my urgency. she told me she'd call my doc and talk to him and let me know what i'd have to do. (this included coming back into the office) - she told me this was not necessary. (thank god) - hello?!! some of us work?! and i'd just have to be careful. sighhhh. :)

That looks extremely painful! I am definitely not fond of anything teeth oriented. I would rather give birth than deal with the pain I dealt with when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Ha!
ouch! ouch! ouch! ouch! ouch! That is one of my worst nightmares. I hate anything to do with dentist stuff...
pretty much that's what i told craig, "i'd rather have given birth." i don't know why... but something about wanting and needing. ;)
