we got my daughter a beautiful old white wood (with wicker overlay) dresser but it smells a lil' musty. unfortunately.
it's definately not moldy, which is good, but that smell, ick. smells like an old lady's house. i feel bad for charlotte so i'm trying to remedy the situation. interestingly enough, her clothing doesn't smell like it, it's more the actual dresser rather than the drawers.
i have several options in my arsenal, i'll have to see what works!

Try placing new dryer sheets in the drawers. They worked on our boat so I'm thinking they'll work on a dresser and her clothes will smell freshly washed and dried :)
Another bit of good news...they keep spiders and other unwelcome critters away!
Oh, you'll have to let us know what works!
